All are invited to a wonderful opportunity to tour two beautiful sorority houses at the University of Texas, all dressed up for the holidays:
Kappa Kappa Gamma (2001 University Ave.) and Alpha Phi (2005 University Ave.)

* All proceeds benefit the Austin Alumnae Panhellenic Association.

March 2, 2024 - Fraternity Day of Service Signature Event
Pi Phi Austin Alum Club has been chosen by Nationals for this very special event to be held in March. We look forward to working together as Pi Phis, along with our families and friends to pass out over 15,000 books to children in need to promote the importance of reading and literacy. So please mark your calendars -we will need everyone's help on this day to make an impact on literacy in Austin.
** Currently - WE NEED a Sourcing Chair -to secure donated materials and snacks for the event, including a certified pallet jack driver for 2/28-2/29.

--Big Announcement! We have a new VP of Communications: Katie Hallberg!
Katie is THE BOMB! She does so much for our club—she is currently working as the Philanthropy Chair (& doing a bang-up job getting our Fraternity Day of Service up and running). She is also our Head of Social Media. She is now filling three officers’ positions and doing a fabulous job! When you see her, please give her a huge thank you for all she does for us. Trick or Treating at the Pi Phi house was a big success. The parents of the littles and the Pi Phi actives may have enjoyed it just as much as the kids. Thanks to all who participated!
Our Pi Phi Sisters Snacks & Sips in November was also a fun time. Everyone brought their favorites from Trader Joe's & it was so fun to learn of everyone's favorites. Thanks to Kaki Gilbreath John for hosting us!

Texas Alpha House Trick or Treating Event
A new host of angels were initiated into Texas Alpha Pi Beta Phi on November 5th! Many alums showed up for the big event. There was a lovely reception hosted at the Pi Phi house afterwards for all initiates and alumnae.
--Dues Report - 105 Pi Phi Austin Area Alums have paid their 2023-24 and while this is still not as many as in years past - we want to give you a big THANK YOU!
Paying dues is not just about funding but also lets us know who wants to actively participate in our club. We are wisely planning our spending and we have many fun events coming up in the next several months, including our annual, elegant Founders Day luncheon in April (stay tuned for a Save the Date soon). Your dues go to help fund these fun events and also allow us to donate $500 to our national foundation this month. We very much appreciate all that have paid their dues!

* “Mothers with Young ‘Uns” - A mom of young kids to help organize our playgroup interest group we are calling “Mothers with Young ‘Uns”. Even two people would be great - put your heads together & co-chair!
* Young Alumnae - A committee member to help Lucy Greenlee organize events for the under 40-ish group! If you would like to give her ideas or help her, please contact her at: lucy.greenlee@gmail.com
