| Submit Required 2020 Injury and Illness Data to OSHA by March 2
TO: NEAFA Feed Manufacturer Members
Our friends at the American Feed Industry Association remind us that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is now collecting calendar year 2020 Form 300A data. Employers must submit the form electronically by March 2.
OSHA requires electronic submissions for establishments with 250 or more employees through the agency’s injury and illness records and for establishments with 20-249 employees classified in specific industries with historically high rates of occupational injuries and illnesses. Member facilities should note that if you have 20 or more employees and are involved in manufacturing, construction, transportation or agriculture, you must comply with this regulation.
Visit the Injury Tracking Application Electronic Submission of Injury and Illness Records to OSHA for more information and a link to the Injury Tracking Application.
Under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, employers are responsible for providing safe and healthful workplaces for their employees.
For questions and assistance with submitting data, contact Gary Huddleston, AFIA’s director of feed manufacturing and regulatory affairs. |
