WORKSHOP INFORMATION:
This comprehensive training and certification is for graduate members who desire to serve as an undergraduate advisor or on an advisory team to a city and/or university collegiate chapter(s). Modules will cover responsibilities of the advisor and chapter, college and university requirements, information about university students, and other extensive topics that are essential for chapter advisors.
In order to serve as an Undergraduate Advisor, Regional or State Undergraduate Coordinator (or member of an Undergraduate Advisory Committee), a member must be certified as an Undergraduate Advisor by the National Director of Undergraduate Advisors, Regional Undergraduate Coordinator, or a Regional or State Director.
REQUIRED: - YOU MUST BE AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE SPONSORING GRADUATE CHAPTER FOR TWO OR MORE YEARS.
- YOU MUST BE MEMBERSHIP INTAKE PROCESS (MIP) CERTIFIED.
- ALL MEMBERS OF THE SPONSORING GRADUATE CHAPTER'S UNDERGRADUATE ADVISORY COMMITTEE MUST BE CERTIFIED.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Printed or electronic copy of the Undergraduate Advisor Manual (link attached below).
PREREQUISITES: Please review the Undergraduate Advisor Manual (link attached above) prior to attending the training.
YOU MUST HAVE PRE-REGISTERED FOR THIS TRAINING
& BE A REGISTERED ATTENDEE FOR SRLC 2019.
There is NO ON-SITE registration for Advisors/Sponsors Certification Training.
