This morning we will hit the beach first, in search of any migrant Terns and Gulls of interest before checking the various migrant traps around the Park. Classic site to search for migrant passerines in the Park include the Arrowhead Picnic Area, Soldier's Hole, and the East Beach woodlot. We won't neglect to search for migrant shorebirds in the estuaries and lagoon, hoping to encounter a few dozen of the 350 species recorded, to date, at this diverse site.
Bathrooms are relatively numerous and easily accessed, scattered throughout the park. There is a $6 parking fee for visiting Fort De Soto Park, which can be paid online, by text, or at a number of remote pay receptacle units in the park.
