Please join Rosy Tellez of Disability Rights California for some training on self-advocacy. Self-Advocacy is being able to speak up for yourself, make your own decisions, gather information, establish support,  understand your rights and responsibilities, problem solving, and more. It is a key step towards independence and can help you manage your anger by learning how address your needs in a positive way.

Join this webinar to learn how to develop a Self - Advocacy Action plan and successfully carry out the plan. Learn to identify your own strengths and how you can take steps on your new Self – Advocacy journey. During this presentation, we will discuss:

  • What is Self- Advocacy?
  • Why is it Important?
  • Steps Toward Self- Advocacy
  • Self- Advocacy in Action
Please note that an OCASG Liability Waiver is required. If you have not signed one yet, upon registering, an email will be sent to you with information. Upon confirmation of an executed Liability Waiver, you will be sent the login information.
