Explore an ever-changing neighborhood! One of Seattle’s oldest historic neighborhoods, the Chinatown-International District offers students a chance to understand the relationship between ethnic communities and their environments, including the challenges of early immigrants to build and transform their environments. Tours follow several paths through Chinatown and Japantown and can focus on a number of topics. The tour will last 90-100 minutes, and includes access to the museum.  Interested families can also convene after the tour for dim sum or noodles at one of the area’s many excellent restaurants! The tour and museum access will be $15 per person (student or adult). Our larger group will be broken into smaller groups based on ages and interests, so keep that in mind if you are bringing several students. As the venue needs a headcount, we ask that all families register by March 18, 2022 to attend.
