"To promote good fellowship among the women students among the various colleges in the country...to create a secret society composed of these women based upon their good moral character, regardless of nationality or creed..."

Attending law school when you don’t have basic voting rights is a bold move. Our Founders were bold, courageous students who challenged the status quo and did not let society define their future. They were forward-thinking women who saw beyond what sorority was and knew what it could be.

On March 17, 1917, these five bold women attending New York University School of Law could not find a membership accepting of all backgrounds. So they formed Delta Phi Epsilon with the purpose of accepting all races and religions–one of the first non-sectarian, social sororities to do so.

Today, Delta Phi Epsilon heads into our Centennial year. Since our founding nearly 100 years ago, we have grown into a thriving organization with over 67,000 initiated members and chapters located across the United States and Canada. Sisters find more than a home or friendship in DPhiE.

We find empowerment to live authentic and purposeful lives.

We are the Delta Phi Epsilon Gamma Gamma Chapter located in the beautiful Texas hill country in Kerrville at Schreiner University.

Gamma Gamma takes part in Delta Phi Epsilon's three national philanthropies: The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF), ANAD (Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders), and The Delta Phi Epsilon Education Foundation. For the past two years we have held an annual Deepher Dude, a male beauty pageant, to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. In addition, we devout an entire week to ANAD by hosting eve nts to promote good health and body positivity to raise money and awareness for Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Dissorders. Our events range from yoga on the lawn to karaoke night to trashing your insecuritites to why I'm better than Ken and Barbie. Gamma Gamma also takes part in our annual Cinderella Project, where we help teens from the Hill Country Youth Ranch prep for their prom. We donate prom dresses and give the girls hair and makeup tutorials. While we are incredibly committed to our philanthropies and raising money, Gamma Gamma sisters are constantly volunteering and helping out our community.
