The NCOA Scholarship Fund is one of the most important entities within the Association.  Established in 1970, its single purpose is to assist dependents of NCOA members in continuing their education beyond high school. To date, the Scholarship Fund has awarded more than $1.5 million in non-repayable scholarships and grants.

NCOA's Scholarship Fund is funded entirely through donations from our members and chapters, and is a certified Texas Non-Profit Corporation, Federal ID # 74-2351587.  The Fund is designated by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) corporation and, as such, all contributions to the Fund are deductible to the extent provided by Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code.

All donations received are used for scholarships and grants.  No administrative or overhead expenses are deducted from the donations received.
