Hope in a Basket Thanksgiving Drive

Thanksgiving is a time of gratitude for the blessings we have been given in our lives. While we are thankful for our bounty, we should also remember that hunger is a very real problem in our own community.
 
Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, is reported to have said, "He is not a Muslim who goes to bed satiated while his neighbor goes hungry."
 
This Thanksgiving, join the Muslim Women's Organization as we try to bring some extra hope and joy to local families who could use a little extra help. Thanksgiving meal packages will be distributed to families of students in Title 1 schools and other low income families in Central Florida. This year we hope to assist 500 families.

Every $30 provides one family with a complete Thanksgiving meal.  Every dollar that you are able to donate helps.
