Greetings from the sisters of Zeta Theta chapter of Delta Gamma at Columbia University! We will be holding our DG Dash on the week of March 8th through March 12th.
We would like to thank you for your participation in our fundraiser benefitting the Delta Gamma Foundation.
DG Dash is a brand new virtual fundraiser the sisters at Zeta Theta are participating in this year. As the sun comes out this Spring and in the spirit of Doing Good, DG will be tracking their daily runs, bikes, dog walks, etc, and collecting donations for our philanthropy Service for Sight. Don't forget to add, next your name on the Donate page, which Member Class ('24,'23,'22,'21) when donating, so we can keep track of donations!
"Do Good," our motto since 1873, was penned by our Founders even before the letters Delta and Gamma were chosen. This motto is alive and well in 2021.
Our VISION is to greatly impact the lives of people who are blind or visually impaired. We also look to benefit our members through life enriching educational opportunities, as well as merit and need-based scholarships and graduate fellowships.
Since 1936, our national philanthropy has been Service for Sight. Delta Gammas across the United States and Canada fundraise and volunteer their time (approximately 120,000 hours per year) to assist those who are blind or visually impaired. Four schools for children who are blind or visually impaired have been established by Delta Gammas and continue to thrive to this day. Donations from our fundraising events also assist in the area of grants to organizations which share our Service for Sight mission. We are making a difference!
